Renegade
WebHeads began serving the Internet needs of the public sector community
in 1995. Dr. David Coursey, who directs the Public Information Management
track in Florida State University's
Masters of Public Administration program, recognized the opportunity
to partner graduate students and public agencies looking for low-cost
Internet applications. Repeated successes attracted more experienced
developers and increasingly challenging projects, eventually creating
a specialized and highly skilled staff with a variety of public and
commercial backgrounds.
By combining MIS with
government context, our staff is uniquely qualified to design applications
that fit the structure and target markets of government information.
We do not simply code pages. We design applications that serve real
business needs.
How good is our staff?
Career track speaks for itself. Former staff are found in many agencies
and as far as the web, Webheads-trained webmasters and web staff are
abundant. For example, Garrett Fuller became the youngest chief information
resource manager (IRM) in Florida government at the Department of
Management Services (DMS), our state's premier agency on the web.
Diana Patterson is a Bureau Chief in Departmental Applications for
FDOS (Florida Department of State) where she and her staff assist
the Department in creating and redesigning in-house applications.
Nathaniel Emmert-Keaton is Vice President for Project Development
at Renegade Companies and is responsible for developing client websites
and coordinating staff efforts. Another recent graduate, Michael Sheridan,
is currently working as an Internet Application Developer dealing
with ASP and JSP to tie the front end of financial websites to backend
databases and Java. These are only a few of the notable roles the
staff of Renegade WebHeads have moved on to hold.
So what about the staff
you will be dealing with now? Below is a list of some of our current
and recent staff members. Each are experienced in a variety of technological
solutions, coupled with unique specialties and a solid understanding
of the management environment.
